Energy Policy Institute, University of Chicago (EPIC) India hosted a knowledge exchange workshop on an emissions trading scheme in Gujarat. The emissions trading scheme is in a pilot program in Gujarat, and a similar scheme will be launched in Punjab. Participants in the workshop included Punjab officials and industry representatives together with their peers in Gujarat. MacArthur grantee EPIC India arranged industry site visits and question and answer sessions as part of the work to build capacity and expertise.
