MacArthur, as part of the donor collaborative Disability Inclusion Fund helped establish a rapid response fund of $200,000 to address the needs of people with disabilities amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has disproportionately impacted people with disabilities, and these funds will support organizations directly serving this community. The fund, which is housed at Borealis Philanthropy, is committed to transformational change led by and for people with disabilities. It is supported by the Presidents’ Council on Disability Inclusion in Philanthropy, foundation presidents, of which MacArthur is a member.
