P.O.V., the longest-running independent documentary series on American television, commences its 19th season on Tuesday, June 27, 2006, with the broadcast of "No More Tears Sister," a film about the Sri Lankan human rights activist, Dr. Rajani Thiranagama, who was assasinated at the age of 35.  The 2006 season also includes "The Boys of Baraka," "Waging a Living," and "Maquilapolis." There are sixteen films in total and each will be shown on Tuesdays at 10pm on PBS stations nationwide.
