News Match 2017, a collaboration between Democracy Fund, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and MacArthur, is offering $3 million in matching funds to support nonprofit news organizations that play a vital role in informing the public and holding those in power accountable. Individuals are invited to give to more than 100 trusted news organizations via newsmatch.org, where donors can find and support trusted reporting in their community and on issues they care about. Donations up to $1,000 will be matched through December 31, 2017.
