Diverse leaders in journalism in media are creating a movement for equity in the field. The Art of Leadership program at Rockwood Leadership Institute provides fellowships to 24 emerging leaders working in in documentary film, participatory civic media, and investigative reporting. They all have leadership roles at nonprofit media organizations that MacArthur supports, and the program aims to support their leadership development and effectiveness and build connections. The program will also help increase organizational capacity at journalism and media organizations.
