The Asian University for Women (AUW) seeks to provide high quality, comprehensive education to talented, yet underserved, young women from rural, poor, and marginalized populations in Asia and the Middle East. The University’s robust academic curriculum prepares and empowers its students for leadership roles so that they may have a lasting influence in their communities, their countries, and the region. MacArthur will provide general support to assist AUW with meeting urgent operational costs while they engage in a major fundraising initiative to secure institutional financial sustainability.
