The Russian Political Science Association (RPSA) is a non-governmental organization with branches in more than 50 Russian regions, involving about 700 experts from independent research centers, universities, and institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This grant will boost the activities of the RPSA’s membership in two areas of direct relevance to MacArthur’s new initiative on Russia’s Global Engagement: non-proliferation and safety of nuclear materials, and governance in the Arctic. Project outputs will include workshops and panels at the RPSA’s Sixth All-Russian Congress of Political Science, along with publications and targeted outreach to the Russian Internet and mainstream media.
