The Moscow Center for Gender Studies is a non-profit based in the Russian capital working to promote women’s rights and gender equality, as guaranteed by the Russian Constitution and other laws of Russian Federation. The proposed project will strengthen the Internet presence of the Moscow Center for Gender Studies as an articulate voice for women’s rights. Project activities will include monitoring public discourse on the Internet about the protection of women’s rights and gender equality in Russia, and interventions to build informed public discussion of these issues. Foundation dollars will be used to pay for salaries and costs related to website development.
