Leadership Greater Chicago

Leadership Greater Chicago (LGC) is a convener, connector, and mobilizer of leaders who wish to achieve transformative civic impact across the Chicago metropolitan area. LGC operates two leadership programs: the Signature Fellows Program for mid-career professionals from the nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors; and the Daniel Burnham Fellowship for newly relocated or recently promoted executives to the civic community in the Chicago metropolitan area. This gift provides general operating support to LGC.

Leadership Greater Chicago is a 40 year old, Chicago-based organization that brings together civic leaders from the public, private and nonprofit sector to build relationships and advance civic life in the Chicago area.

Leadership Greater Chicago (LGC) is a convener, connector, and mobilizer of leaders who wish to achieve transformative civic impact across the Chicago metropolitan area. LGC operates two leadership programs: the Signature Fellows Program, an intensive 10-month program for mid-career professionals from the nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors; and the Daniel Burnham Fellowship, designed to introduce newly relocated or promoted executives to the civic community in the metropolitan area. With this award, LGC creates a new program, All Hands on Deck, that will explore the socioeconomic issues that Chicago must address as it strives to overcome both the COVID-19 pandemic and longstanding racial inequity.
