The Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) is a nonprofit organization that pursues health policy analysis and health-related journalism. Along with other partners, KFF operates an annual nine-day residential training program for health care journalists to strengthen their understanding and knowledge of critical and complex health care and health policy issues. This grant provides support for the convening, which brings health experts from academia, government, and the medical field together with reporters covering health issues. The goal is to improve and expand reporting on health care so that the public has access to more and better information.
