With this award, CUE supports the JustAction Racial Equity Collaborative, a project of CUE, to launch a series of working groups to reimagine how wealth is accumulated, social narratives are perpetuated, and policy is implemented in Chicago.

Its mission is to build a more just, equitable, and inclusive Chicago by reimagining structures, policies, and practices through a racial equity lens. With this award, CUE builds its Senior Fellowship alumni program and conducts its annual CUE Equity Fellows program, a nine-month civic engagement opportunity for leaders representing public agencies, research institutions, and nonprofits.
