All Raise

All Raise is a nonprofit based in California working to develop and grow venture capital talent while advancing a more equitable and innovative venture capital ecosystem. Founded in 2018 by a coalition of 36 senior venture capitalists, the organization carries out three main activities a) building connection and community through a flagship summit, cohorts, and a member network which, to date, has served more than 10,000 people and delivered more than 44,000 hours of programming; b) supporting rigorous industry research which is disseminated through multiple publications, including an annual report, a compensation report, and a survey; and c) strategic communications that promote visibility and influence through media placements and the All Raise Visionary Voices platform.  The Foundation’s gift provides general operating support to All Raise.

BLCK VC

All Raise, a nonprofit organization focused on increasing gender equity in venture capital and the startup ecosystem more broadly, serves as the fiscal sponsor for BLCK VC, a 501(c)(3)-pending nonprofit organization that equips Black investors with the access, education, and community they need to accelerate their careers in venture capital. This grant supports the engagement of an external consultant for the creation of a strategic plan for BLCK VC to support their mission of increasing Black representation in venture capital, to push the industry to become more inclusive and diverse, and to achieve their goal to increase the percentage of Black investors and Black partners in venture capital. The refinement and development of their strategic plan will also support existing programs offering help to individuals, from college students to senior executives, by providing educational and community-building events to connect, educate, and uplift the broader Black investor community.
