American Exile is a documentary film exploring the underreported issue of the U.S. government's deportation of American veterans. Through the story of Valente and Manuel Valenzuela, brothers and Vietnam War veterans, the film seeks to surface one of the many problematic aspects of the U.S. government's practice of detaining and deporting illegal immigrants.
