Conservation and Sustainable Development
Grant Application Process
CSD geography-based grants follow a three-year recurring cycle, with one portfolio of grants prepared annually for each region. Letters of Inquiry are accepted and reviewed in an open and competitive process, and a limited number of full proposals are then requested based on this review. A typical grant portfolio consists of 10 to 15 grants per Focal Area. Most approved grants receive funding for a three-year period, and grant renewals are evaluated, based on performance, following three years of implementation.
Future application deadlines for MacArthur's conservation and sustainable development grantmaking are being determined and will be posted here in 2011.
