JJ expunge report

According to a national scorecard released by Juvenile Law Center, most states are failing to protect sensitive information contained in juvenile court records, creating barriers to education, employment, and opportunities for many American youth. The scorecard is the first comprehensive evaluation of state policies that govern the confidentiality and expungement of juvenile court and law enforcement records. The report sets forth recommendations for improvement, including the enactment of provisions by states and municipalities to limit barriers to education for youth with a record.
