research guidebook

A guidebook published by Emerson College’s Engagement Game Lab describes how government, community organizations, and academic researchers can collaborate on developing new tools, processes, and knowledge for innovating civic life in cities. The Engagement Game Lab focuses on the development and study of games, technology, and new media to enhance civic life. The guidebook, developed with support from MacArthur, calls for a more deliberate approach to technology experimentation within city government that leads to lasting relationships between organizations and citizens and sharable findings across knowledge networks.
