OLYMPIA, WASHINGTON — The State of Washington's Department of Social and Human oversees social services provided to its residents, including youth involved in the juvenile justice, child welfare, and behavioral health systems simultaneously. It will use this grant to continue to improve its responses to these "multi-system" youth, by ensuring that information and resources are shared across systems, and completing implementation of key state-level policy and local practice reforms, documenting their outcomes, and ensuring that they are institutionalized.
