Established in 1986, the Society for Education, Action and Research in Community Health (SEARCH) is a leading public health non-profit organization located in the poorest, tribal district of Gadchiroli in the state of Maharashtra. A previous MacArthur award enabled SEARCH to
develop and test a module on sexual reproductive health education for youth in a small number of intervention villages. This award provides final support to SEARCH to scale up the delivery of the curriculum to adolescents and young people in Maharashtra, and to advocate for youth sexual and reproductive health programs in the state.
