The National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP), founded in 1976 and based in Washington D.C., is nonprofit organization that addresses a range of questions crucial to most large funders about how to prioritize their use of resources and best interact with grantees. NCRP's primary activities include research, publishing, education, and events aimed at redirecting philanthropic funds toward historically disadvantaged communities and individuals. NCRP works closely with a number of identity-based affinity groups in which MacArthur participates, in addition to a number of Foundation grantees to promote its perspectives on the field.
