It emphasizes the importance of play as a critical learning tool, and supports caregivers, parents and educators in putting this philosophy into practice at horne and in the classroom. This funding supports the Kohl Children's Museum in a dual artistic exchange with South Africa's Play Africa, an organization that supports play and learning in public places. The goal of the exchange is to collaborate on an exhibit and art installation that will be on permanent display at each organization's headquarters. This grant funds direct project costs: travel, accommodations, artist fees, artistic materials, venue exhibition costs, and marketing. It is recommended as part of the International Connections Fund.
