Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation

Established in 2001, the Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation (GAGDC) works to foster and promote revitalization of low to moderate income neighborhoods in Chicago utilizing comprehensive community development strategies and initiatives. GAGDC serves the Auburn Gresham, Chatham, Englewood, and Greater Grand Crossing neighborhoods. Its goal is to make these South Side Chicago communities destinations of choice for visitors, business owners, and residents. This award for general operating support strengthens GAGDC as it supports place-based community economic development in historically marginalized neighborhoods on Chicago's South Side.
