MEXICO CITY, MEXICO — With a $240,000 three-year grant Demysex will reinforce comprehensive sexuality education in Mexico's rural and indigenous areas through promoting the inclusion of comprehensive sexuality education into the public education system curricula, and increasing teachers' awareness and knowledge of sexuality and gender issues in rural and indigenous regions of Mexico.
The MacArthur Foundation awarded Democracia y Sexualidad $240,000 between 2010 and 2013.
