Focus Countries

Much of MacArthur's international grantmaking is directed towards support for work carried out in four countries: India, Mexico, Nigeria, and Russia, where the Foundation also maintains offices. The focus of MacArthur's support in these countries includes improving the sexual and reproductive health of women and young people, advancing human rights, and strengthening universities and scholarly infrastructure.
