Digital media are changing the way young people learn, play, socialize and participate civically, and these changes have profound implications for education. Hear from experts and young people about the rewards and opportunites, risks and policy implications of digital media’s expanding role in children’s lives.

In 2006, the MacArthur Foundation launched its digital media and learning initiative to explore how young people are changing because of digital media and how schools, libraries and other learning institutions need to adapt.
