Beth provides research to inform grantmaking and strategy development in community and economic development, immigration, PRIs, housing, and policy research.
Prior to her work at MacArthur, Beth was a researcher at the Center for Urban Economic Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she worked on studies related to economic development, labor markets, and urban industrial change. Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant to the Chicago Department of Transportation.
Beth is a PhD candidate in urban planning and policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where her research focuses on the logistics industry in Chicagoland. She received her undergraduate degree from Antioch College.
