A Panel Discussion on Re-Imagining Learning in the 21st Century

On Thursday, March 31, the MacArthur Foundation hosted a panel discussion at the Spertus Institute in Chicago on re-imagining learning in the 21st Century. The event also featured film clips from Digital Media: New Learners of the 21st Century, a new PBS documentary.
The $31 million multilateral, public-private initiative – named in honor of the late Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens – hopes to achieve the largest increase in people-to-people educational exchanges between the United States and the Middle East. Read More
The competition, dubbed Playlists for Learning, will offer year-long development grants totaling $700,000 to create innovative learning playlists that close the opportunity gap and help learners succeed in the 21st century. Read More
