The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy maps out opportunities to expand utlity-sponsored energy efficiency programs for multifamily buildings in the 50 largest multifamily housing markets in the United States in a new report, Scaling Up Multifamily Energy Efficiency Programs: A Metropolitan Area Assessment. With whole-house energy retrofits growing in popularity, the report finds multifamily buildings represent a large and mostly untapped potential for saving energy.
