New York University’s Institute for Education and Social Policy (IESP) and Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy – both MacArthur grantees – have released a new study that finds New York City public school students living in buildings in foreclosure are more likely to change schools in the year following a foreclosure notice than other students.
