Database

A new online resource provides policymakers with an easy way to find information on the effectiveness of various programs as rated by eight national research clearinghouses. The database, created by the Pew-MacArthur Results First Initiative, is designed to help policymakers strategically target funds to programs that are shown through rigorous research to be highly effective. The clearinghouses provide literature reviews and rate interventions in a range of policy areas, including adult criminal justice, juvenile justice, mental health, substance abuse, early education, and child welfare.
