StoryCorps-Justice-200

The Justice Project, produced by StoryCorps as part of the Safety and Justice Challenge, is a storytelling initiative to collect, preserve, and amplify the stories of people whose lives have been impacted by mass incarceration and the justice system nationwide. Through first-person narratives, the stories collected illuminate the structural forces that shape who is disproportionately exposed to mass incarceration and what that can mean for individuals, families, and communities. StoryCorps is a recipient of the MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions.
