The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) released a Safety Kit to help prepare journalists for high-risk assignments. For dangerous assignments, in hostile environments and following natural disasters, the kit offers a Security Guide and Safety Notes, including risk assessments and tools for digital and psychological safety. CPJ, supported by MacArthur, also expanded its Resource Center to include more information on insurance, protective equipment, and medical care; first aid videos are provided for those without ready access to medical personnel.
