income inequality

A report from the Aspen Institute examines the challenge of income inequality in the United States and looks at how impact investing is being used to address the problem. The Bottom Line: Investing for Impact on Economic Mobility in the U.S. draws on lessons from market-based approaches to identify tools and strategies that can help move the needle on family economic security. Part of the report details MacArthur’s $123 million in program related investments deployed since 2003 to help preserve affordable housing. In a short video, Debra Schwartz,  MacArthur’s Director of Program-Related Investments, also discusses the The Bottom Line report.
