A survey by the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication finds that the share of Americans who say they are "very worried" about global warming has reached 22 percent, a record high since first measured in 2008. A majority of Americans – 63 percent – now says they are "very" or "somewhat" worried about the issue. In the MacArthur-supported poll, 67 percent of those surveyed think global warming will harm people in the United States, with 75 percent believing it is a threat to future generations.
