The MacArthur Research Network on Connected Learning has launched a website focused on connected learning, a new Foundation-supported approach to learning. The site features a weekly webinar series with experts in the field addressing issues like democratizing education, game-like learning, and other opportunities for digital media to help open doors to achievement and opportunity. Videos in the archive include The Cruciality of Connected Educator Month with Karen Cator, Director of the Office of Educational Technology at the U.S. Department of Education, Attention, Activism, and Advocacy in a Digital Age, and the Mozilla Open Badges project. Additional resources include case studies and an infographic on the principles of connected learning.
