Seven policy professionals have been selected to serve as the 2018 class of Nuclear Security Working Group Congressional Nuclear Security Fellows, working collaboratively with host offices to serve a one-year appointment in the 115th Congress. Five fellows are currently serving in the U.S. Senate and two are serving in the House of Representatives. The MacArthur-supported fellows program works to expand bipartisan discourse on nuclear security issues and advance the work of the Congressional Nuclear Security Working Group. That group draws on an array of legislative, executive, and private sector nuclear expertise to serve as a non-partisan clearinghouse for nuclear security engagement on Capitol Hill.
