Gamelab Institute of Play and New Visions for Public Schools, a nonprofit that works with NYC schools to improve academic achievement, today announced the creation of new public school that will use game design and game-inspired methods to teach critical 21st century skills and literacy. MacArthur awarded a grant $1.1 million to help with planning and development of the school.
