The Tax Policy Center, a joint venture of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution, provides independent analysis of the tax plans proposed by all the major presidential candidates. The Presidential Tax Calculator, created in partnership with Vox, allows people to calculate how the various proposals would impact them and their families. The Tax Policy Center, a recipient of the MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions, is comprised of nationally recognized experts in tax, budget, and social policy.
