HUD Helps MacArthur Grantees Improve Rental Buildings’ Energy Usage

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded over $8.5 million in Energy Innovation Funds to four MacArthur grantees working to preserve affordable rental housing.   Enterprise Community Partners, Network for Oregon Affordable Housing, Maryland Department of Housing Community Development, and the Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future all received grants to develop ideas on reducing aging apartments’ energy usage.
