Video: Testifying on “Enforced Disappearances”

In testimony before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, human rights organizations presented recommendations for improving investigations and protecting and assisting families of the disappeared in Mexico.  Fundar, Centro de Derechos Humanos de las Mujeres,  Comisión Mexicana de Defensa y Promoción, Tlachinollan, and Pro Juarez, all supported by MacArthur, advocated for measures including the adoption of guidelines for police and other agencies for conducting timely searches and using internationally sanctioned forensic protocols.
