    MOSCOW, RUSSIA — The Moscow Guild of Theater and Film Actors is an association founded in 1993 to improve the conditions of the work of film and theater professionals, including by means of legal support to members. The Guild derives its income mostly from membership fees and donations. Since 1995, it has run the Stalker International Human Rights Film Festival as an annual event, beginning every December in Moscow, and subsequently traveling to other Russian regions during the following year. The proposed project will provide renewed funding for the Stalker Film Festival. Foundation dollars will be used to pay salaries, administration costs for the festival (including the rent of premises and costs of hiring films), publications, and travel expenses.
