    CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — World Sport Chicago promotes the development of sustainable sports programming that improves the quality of life for under-served youth in Chicago and at-risk communities. In 2009, MacArthur provided a three-year grant to WSC in support of its Scholarship Program, which it used to provide scholarships to enable 56 Chicago students to attend college, many of whom are the in their families to attend college and/or are from families without the financial resources to help them attend a university commensurate with their abilities. This grant will be used to provide the Classes of 2015 to 2018 with the financial aid needed to graduate.
