The award supports Ciudadanos en Apoyo a los Derechos Humanos to participate in an emerging coalition of civil society groups promoting an autonomous and effective Prosecutor’s Office in Nuevo León, and to connect that work to the national-level coalition for the National Prosecutor’s Office. It also supports monitoring activities to assess the Prosecutor’s Office’s performance in investigating human rights violations and prosecuting perpetrators.
