Georgetown Law Journal is a student-edited scholarly journal published at Georgetown University Law Center. The award supports Georgetown Law Journal’s Volume 112 Symposium being held on November 10th, 2023, in Washington, DC. The purpose of the symposium is to examine systemic racial injustices in a variety of areas of the law through an Afrofuturist lens. It will convene scholars across a wide range of disciplines such as law, literature, media studies, philosophy, and sociology to examine the intersection of race and technology and beyond. The event and its corresponding scholarship will be published by Georgetown Law Journal.
