2012 • 4 years, 4 months • Juvenile Justice
The Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice oversees juvenile offenders who are committed to the state of Illinois. Since its creation as a stand-alone agency, the Department has worked as part of Models for Change in Illinois to adopt more effective and developmentally-appropriate rehabilitative approaches. It will use this grant to conduct a risk and needs analysis of its population, assess its staff, analyze its facilities, and develop a new staff training and development center.
