OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA — The Partnership for Children and Youth works to improve the quality of expanded learning time programs in the Bay Area’s most vulnerable communities. Through its Affordable Housing Network, the Partnership brings together housing-based youth service providers in a community of practice and trains participating housing providers to implement, assess and improve their expanded learning time programs for youth. The Partnership will use this grant to evaluate its efforts to implement high-quality expanded learning time programs for youth living in affordable housing communities, to better understand their effectiveness and potential for replication in affordable housing communities in California and nationwide.
The MacArthur Foundation awarded Partnership for Children and Youth $100,000 between 1978 and 2018.
