BRONX, NEW YORK — DreamYard Project Inc., will use this grant to launch a new YOUmedia site at a community center in the low-income Morrisania neighborhood of the Bronx, inspired by the first YOUmedia center at the Chicago Public Library. This site will build on DreamYard’s already-successful out-of-school programs, which focus on the visual, performing, and literary arts by adding digital arts and media production for thousands of Bronx youth not already involved in DreamYard programming. This project will develop a series of programs in the areas of Photo and Video, Music and Audio Production, Design, and Maker for middle and high school youth.
