DELC Madagascar (Development and Environmental Law Center) is a Centre of Environmental Law and Development managed by the Association Mizana Maitso. Their mission is to educate Malagasy on the sustainable use of natural resources and protection; to learn the values and limitations of the human, economic and ecological environment, to provide knowledge on Environmental Law, and to train professionals for the management and implementation of environmental policy in Madagascar. This grant will support efforts to equip small-scale fishers in Madagascar with the management tools and policies needed to actively protect and manage their fisheries.
