WYCC-TV Channel 20 provides 24 hours of programming that features a mix of instructional, informational, and educational programs to diverse audiences. WYCC has 7,000 members and, according to Media Audit 2011, it reaches more than 1.8 million viewers per week. WYCC received its license in 1983 and is one of two Public Broadcasting Service affiliates in the Chicago area. This grant supports critical operating needs such as WYCC’s programming and production costs, creative services, and staff.
