Chicago United for Equity (CUE) was established in response to national and local reporting about the persistence of racial segregation in urban public schools. Its mission is to build a more just, equitable, and inclusive Chicago by reimagining structures, policies, and practices through a racial equity lens. With this award, CUE offers its annual CUE Equity Fellowship program, a year-long civic engagement opportunity for leaders representing public agencies, research institutions, and nonprofits.

Chicago United for Equity is a community of racial justice advocates working together across neighborhoods, organizations, and policy issues. With this award, CUE builds internal technology infrastructure by engaging a consultant to train its staff in the Airtable database platform.
