Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe) is a not-for-profit policy research institution engaged in the exploration and analysis of development challenges with respect to climate change and natural resource management. This award supports IRADe to study the development contexts of a number of states in India and to identify and propose policies that promote the use of market-based mechanisms to achieve the country’s Nationally Determined Contributions under the Paris Accord. It also enables IRADe to consolidate and share learnings from such analysis with development actors at the federal level for more informed policy development.
